What People's Say About Place

Insane day today! The two baristas absolutely killed it this morning. I came in and it was so busy but the workers kept their composure and were super friendly. I patiently waited and it was worth it. They always got great music playing too. It reminds me of when the barista on Thanksgiving was working all by himself and he held it down with all the chaotic rush that happened. This coffee shop has some seriously well skilled baristas, I seriously hope they are getting paid more than minimum wage. If they aren’t …. They DESERVE raises. Will definitely be coming back

What else is there to say? I was served by Dylany who was such a wonderful and welcoming barista. The service was immaculate. Dylany prepared for me the ‘mango minesweeper’ and let’s just say, my mind was SWEPT away. Lovely atmosphere, lovely service, and Maroon 5 was playing. Phenomenal.

The manager is usually friendly, and a few other baristas. Today my experience with the same barista that seems to have an attitude each time I come in prepared a customer’s (who was behind my order) order before prepping my order. I stepped out for a minute to give them time to prep my order, and I came back in to find the customer’s order already waiting for him while they’re chatting it up after exchanging emails. I’m giving a rating of 4 based on my prior positive interactions with the manager and other baristas because it’s my neighborhood cafe and it would be nice to have a pleasant experience each time and would hate to have to write another post about a new bad experience The manager is usually friendly, and a few other baristas. Nice and cozy vibe. Ticked back in Forest Heights. Worth the short drive from the city center. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean store. I will return... Update: I returned. The Works Biscuits and Gravy with coffee was warm and delicious on a dark cold and rainy Sunday. I give it a 5/5! For the love of comfort food, it was perfection.

I really want this place to do better. The location and atmosphere are great, and it has so much potential. That said, the experience has been consistently disappointing. The staff often come across as rude or disengaged. I’m rarely acknowledged, which doesn’t feel great as a customer. Drinks take a long time to make and often aren’t hot when they’re finally served. And somehow, they always seem to be out of the Pig Newtons. I stopped going for about a year and recently gave it another try, hoping things had improved, but unfortunately it was the same experience. I genuinely want them to succeed, which is why I’m still rooting for this place. Giving it 4 out of 5 purely for potential.

Absolutely love going here! The workers create such a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. I’m pretty particular with my order and they always meet my expectation. I always make sure to recommend this place to anyone coming from out of town. Love the staff and the coffee!!

This has been my goto coffee shop since I moved to this neighborhood almost 9 months ago and I love it. The baristas are all kind and have even learned my goto order and they all will chat with you especially after I’ve taken the time to get to know them as well. The place is always clean and inviting. Happy to give them a 5 star review!

I love coming to this coffee shop to study! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the food is consistently great, and the environment is clean while still feeling cozy and comfortable. It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good coffee/treat!
